Amick Acres LakesLocated in Hall County, 2 miles west and 1 mile north of Doniphan. This growing subdivision has more than a dozen sandpit lakes that attract large flocks of ducks and geese in early spring and late fall. Wading birds are common in the summer and the mature trees in the area attract a variety of songbirds. Winter migrants such as red-breasted nuthatches and pine siskin are commonly seen here.
