Buffalo County: 636 acres. Four ponds and 7 miles of river frontage. Located 0.5 mile south of the Minden I-80 exit 279, turn left, then 0.5 mile north. Includes 90 acres of lakes and sandpits; mostly wooded. In spite of the river frontage, this area is not used by sandhill cranes to any great extent, but is excellent for wooded habitats birds.
