Little Blue River Access Route

The Little Blue River passes through the southern third of Adams County. The wooded riparian zone of this river contains cottonwoods and hackberries with a thick understory that should be searched for passerines during migration periods. It is the dominant drainage feature of southern Adams County. The area attracts migrating passerines in the spring and fall. Early May and September are the best times for viewing birdlife.
